So, three days ago I suddenly realized that the deadline for was coming up. I worked my *ss off for a while until I came about halfways, and I finally thought that I was going to make it in time. And what happens? My photoshop dies. So I downloaded Inkscape just to be able to get it done. While it has some neat functions, I had to do it by mouse since i didn't know how to make my tablet work on the thing. It's three a clock in the morning and I have 2 frames left on the comic. Needless to say, this is kind of rushed. I'll fix it up a bit when I have the time.

A friendly and easygoing young Lucario. As Reuben's first pokemon, she's the one who makes sure he stays alive. Almost always out of her pokeball. She was specially trained and is able to use her "aura" to talk with humans through telepathy, but sometimes talks pokespeech just because. She is jolly and a little naive. She loves jokes, but takes battling very seriously. Apologies and thank you's don't mix well with her, and she will just disregard it, saying it's nothing. She has offended lots of people this way, and she just can't understand why they get so angry.

Reuben found the fossil of an Aron when digging in the back yard. He didn't find out that he could get it revived until much later and then turned it in to the Cinnabar lab.

Bryndur was born back in the days of the vikings, and was a house pet. He has a grudge against a strange and mysterious religion called "Christianity", that no one has ever heard of, since apparently they wiped out his people. Bryn can be very intimidating at first, and acts much like a guard dog. When he's sure you are not a threat - or a christian - his personality takes an 180 degree turn. He's a big puppy really, and loves to be petted. Reuben sometimes uses the holes in his helmet as cupholders, but he doesn't seem to mind. A die hard viking metal fan, Bryndur finds the music incredibly nostalgic.

Caught by Reuben when looting food from his fridge.
As a fan of classical music, Arthur is annoyed beyond belief by the never ending "metal" noise his trainer and fellow teammates plays all the time. He's a bit snobby, but by no means unfriendly, he's quiet and a bit of a loner, usually keeping to himself. Arthur has an incredible metabolism and loves food, when given the chance he could eat about half his own bodyweight in half an hour. He's the reason Reuben locked up all the food storage spaces.

By far the strongest pokemon on Reubens team. Unlike the defensive, stereotypical Miltank, Mayrose sacrificed all her healing moves for an all out offensive moveset. Her battle tactic is mostly pretty straight forward, hit the opponent, hit it hard, hit it fast, repeat until it stops moving. She's not afraid of sacrificing HP if it means she can land a good hit. Disgusted by the common picture of her species as being only fat pink useless blobs, Mayrose has exchanged most of her body fat for pure muscle. Personality-wise, she's daring, determined and over all incredibly bad ass, but also caring as well and everybody knows she's the one to turn to when they need a shoulder to cry on. She acts harsh and kind of aggressive, but her team knows her well enough to know she mean no harm and she gets along well with everyone. Surprisingly, despite her adamant personality, she has a soft spot for both baby pokemon and human kids(with the exceptions being Dr. Metallica and Reubens little sister)which can cause trouble on the battlefield. It's not like she's looking down on them, she just.. can't... do it. This doesn't mean she's completely softhearted, and the main reason she's on the team in the first place is so she can help Eli discipline her cubs. Originally belonged to Reuben's cousin Evelyn, but she and Reuben gets along well, sharing a deep passion for Heavy Metal. Like Reuben, May listens to pretty much everything, but it should be mentioned that she has a deep obsession of the power metal band Manowar.

She will usually follow Reubens orders, but will refuse if she thinks she has a better plan.

Eli is one the sweetest poké's you will ever come across. Too bad she's so god damn worn out by her two little runts who keeps making her life hell to actually show it. Eli is a second time mother. She thought she had trouble with her first cub, but when she had Roo and Rita, a set of marauding twins who just got old enough to venture out of the pouch and discover the world, she realized what a heavy burden parenting really is. She's constantly on the verge of emotional breakdown and is eternally grateful to Mayrose for helping her keep an eye on her dynamic duo. This all makes her a better fighter, though. Battling is currently her main way of stress relieving, and she takes out all her emotional pain on the poor soul/s on the other side of the battle field. Don't stand in her way. Just don't.

How many shiny chars are there now? Four? Five? .. Anyways. Edward originally belonged to Reubens sister who kept him as a pet. But Edward wanted more, he didn't want to be a weak Charmander for the rest of his life. His biggest dream was always to fly, and to do it, he had to become strong enough to evolve into Charizard. His owner Abigail on the other hand, didn't find the idea of having a giant dragon as a pet very appealing since she was not a trainer, and Ed grew more and more frustrated until one day when he had had enough and went rampage in her room. He evolved into a charmeleon in the process, and since it was clear that Abigail couldn't handle him anymore, he was sent to Reuben. The others aren't entirely sure what to think about Eddie. He's an outsider, spending most of his time alone training and he likes it that way. He's easily annoyed and dislikes his entire team, possibly wit the exception of Mayrose whom he tolerates, and the kanga twins. Roo, Rita and him gets along surprisingly well actually. Still, he has made it clear to veryone that once he evolves, he's getting the hell out of there.

Ah, yes, Dr. Metallica. Reuben got him from a fellow metal head at a Red Zangoose concert a little while ago. "The doctor's" original trainer, a grown, beardy, muscular man whom Reuben had never even met before walked up to him, crying like a baby and shoving the pokeball into his hands, sobbing something along the lines of "take it! TAKE IT! I'll pay you a million dollars if you just take the pink little pest out of my hands!" and then ran off into the night. Reuben doesn't blame him. Dr. Metallica thinks he's the baddest mobster in the history of mobsters, and it's probably not so far from the truth. He.. gets things done. Don't question. Immensely loyal to Reuben and the rest of the team for some strange reason, he is very protective and seems to think of them as his "family". This guy has seen to many gangster movies, seriously. Still, he isn't to be underestimated. His Belly drum/metronome/return combo? Perilous.

Reuben isn't sure why his name is "Dr. Metallica", and honestly he doesn't want to know. The name was written on the pokeball and who is R to question it. Metallica is ALWAYS seen with at least one cigarette. Where he gets thm from? Who knows..

Reuben is seriously suspecting their mom, Eli, to be one of those missing.NO that evolves into kangaskhan when fed a rare candy, because Roo and Rita seems to have been born, unexplainable, with serious hacking skills. They could probably hack their way into the NASA database if they wanted too, which is extremely strange since no one ever taught them how to read or even use a computer. Not because they'd actually DO it - they are just too busy with running amok, causing various kinds of childish mischief. They're not evil and they don't mean any actual harm, but they're kids, and just got old enough to venture outside of their mom's pouch. They make their mom worry to the point of emotional breakdown with their never ending pranks and practical jokes, and they are constantly acting like they are high on sugar or something. They get into trouble all the time, and then gets out of it again with a little help from the move Substitute. They are extremely close andare never EVER seen without each other.
